As dust is limitless and is forever accumulating, the exact amount of dust at any given moment could be regarded as the shelf’s currency of time: the current state of the in-between. I collected dust underneath a shelf of a halogen lightbulb shop and displayed it as part of a rearranged archive of other halogen lightbulbs. The installation corresponds to the current state of regression that businesses founded by migrated Thai-Chinese citizens are facing in the area.
